Salee

On November 7, 2006, ten-year-old Salee was playing outside her home in Hasswa, Iraq with her brother, cousin and some friends when US jets circled overhead. Suddenly the jets fired three missiles, apparently at two passenger vehicles. One of the missiles hit Salee's home, killing her brother and taking both of Salee's legs.

No More Victims has arranged for Salee to receive surgical and prosthetics services in Greenville, South Carolina. This medical treatment is unavailable to her in Iraq.

Salee's medical treatment is being donated through the generosity of Shriner's Hospital. Thanks to generous donors like you, Salee's urgent medical care has now been paid for.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to No More Victims so far. Salee will be the sixth Iraqi child that No More Victims has been able to help — but there are many more waiting. Any additional funds will be now be used to help sponsor another war-injured Iraqi child. Please continue to support No More Victims and a make a difference - one child at a time.

Founding Director Cole Miller talks about the
important work of No More Victims

No More Victims is a non-profit, non-sectarian, humanitarian organization whose mission is to restore the health and well-being of victims of war and to advocate and educate for peace.

No More Victims works to find medical sponsorships for war-injured Iraqi children and to forge ties between the children, their families and communities in the United States. Founded in September 2002, the organization has brought five children to the United States for treatment to-date. Several more children are waiting.
